Full-scribe

Considered the highest form of handcrafting full-scribe construction, also referred to as Swedish cope, is our specialty. We use a unique notching technique coupled with a special lateral groove design in conjunction with overscribing. All this takes into consideration the natural properties of wood, moisture content, size of logs and how logs act and react to various conditions.

Full round chink-style

This style replicates the look of the early log homes of the west. Logs are notched only at the corners and synthetic filler, or chinking, is used to seal the gap between the logs. .

Piece en piece

Using upright posts mortised to accept log wall panels, this style offers a different look, which is gaining in popularity. The log wall panels can be either chink style or full-scribe.
